I believe that designers can change the world.

I keep on sharing my knowledge of experience design. In Poland I teach at SWPS (I give classes in service design and innovation management). Previously I thought at the School of Form in Poznań, the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and in Warsaw, and the Pedagogical University of Cracow. I have held workshops, lectured and made my design tools available at 13 higher education institutions in the world, including the Polytechnic University of Milan, the Technical University of Berlin, Tallinn University, NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand and the University of Sydney.

Knowing what I know now is not enough.

With the thesis "Social ways of managing availability in mediated communication" I got a PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology where I also spent 5 years as an academic researcher. In 2014 I got the prestigious Erskine Fellowship at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand where I gave classes to students pursuing a Master's degree in interaction and experience design. Currently I teach user experience design to postgraduate students of innovation management and service design at SWPS. And I keep on studying myself, always looking for new apporaches to experience design.

I work with small startups as well as global brands.

I have been an independent experience designer for many years now. I support startups, small businesses, international corporations, higher education institutions, public companies as well as governmental and nongovernmental organizations. Among others I collaborated with Play, BZWBK, Allegro, IKEA, the Tatra National Park, Samsung, Netia, VOX, the Marshal Office of the Śląskie Region, Inkubator Starter and startup accelerators, GammaRebels and Huge Thing. I gained my experience working for Google, Océ Technologies, Philips and many others.

My work is my passion.

I regularly support and get involved in initiatives that allow me to get new experience. I have given speeches at conferences such as Be the change, PoliSHOPA, Państwo Usługowe, Badania w Innowacji Publicznej and Agile by Example. I have held design workshops among others at Festiwal Myślenia Projektowego (Design Thinking Festival) in Łódź. I have been a jury member in competitions like the Creative Business Cup, the Design Alive Award and the Service Design Hackathon organized by Raiffeissen Poland. As a member of programme committees I have organized conferences such as the College of Extraordinary Experiences, Service Design: how to start? and UX Poland. During Łódź Design Festival I conducted the series User Experience Design and was the curator of the Empathy: creation and design exhibition.

I design tools that facilitate the creative process.

Based on my experience as a designer I design tools that support creative work. Seed Cards is a tool I created to facilitate the customer experience design process. The tool allows workshop participants to think outside the box and work out inspiring solutions.
